A piece of University of North Dakota history can now be yours. Seats from the Old Ralph Englestad Arena are being sold by Berger Enterprises, the company in charge of demolishing the building next month.
Ending the regular season with 10 wins and three losses--all at home--the University of North Dakota baseball team enters the Great West Conference Tournament with plenty of momentum. UND will be the fifth seed in the tournament and will face fourth-seed and three-time defending GWC champion, Utah Valley. First pitch is set for 8 a.m. CT Thursday.
The UND Multicultural Center honored graduates tonight during its first graduation celebration. Family and friends cheered as several multicultural students were pinned and recognized for their accomplishments.
The state Board of Higher Education is discussing complaints against University System Chancellor Hamid Shirvani and his leadership style. At a board meeting today in Grand Forks, Board members called for an in-depth job review to be done next month.
The long-running Studio One news program produced by the University of North Dakota will undergo a format change. Next season the show, which airs live on Thursdays, will be cut from one hour to a half hour.
The University of North Dakota softball team was finally able to play in front of their home fans. Things did not go well for the green and white as UND fell in a doubleheader to Portland State, 5-1 and 1-0.
