University of North Dakota hockey player Danny Kristo was discharged from Regions Hospital on Thursday, the hospital said in a news release. Kristo was transferred to the Regions Hospital Burn Center on Jan. 31.
UND men's hockey forward Danny Kristo has full use of all of his toes on a foot that was severely frostbitten over the weekend. That's according to a statement issued by Regions Hospital to UND on Thursday.
University of North Dakota head men's hockey coach Dave Hakstol said today that sophomore forward Danny Kristo sustained frostbite to toes on his right foot due to exposure to extreme cold while walking near campus on Sunday evening. Temperatures reached -11 degrees Sunday night.
