A federal judge sentenced fallen auto mogul Denny Hecker on Friday to a maximum 10 years in prison for fraud, saying he deserved no less due to his pattern of lying and concealing assets in the implosion of his empire.
Denny Hecker's highest-paid confidant has been sentenced to 27 months in federal prison for his role in a fraud scheme that brought down the auto dealer's empire that once did $6 billion in annual sales.
A judge has ordered Denny Hecker jailed, saying the fallen Twin Cities auto mogul needs a "wake-up call."
