A man living south of Grand Forks is preparing for rising waters.
Each spring a coulee he lives next to floods causing him to take a boat to get to and from his house.
As warmer temperatures move into the area, homeowners like Mark Satek start to worry.
Governor Jack Dalrymple and Senator John Hoeven flew into Devils Lake Friday, both keeping an eye on the rising Devils Lake. Both Dalrymple and Hoeven seemed optimistic as they spoke with city leaders about the urgency facing the Devils Lake Basin.
The Park River runs right through the city of Grafton, and city leaders say that this year Grafton is on the verge of major flooding.
