Ryan Vogelsong added another gem to his remarkable season, Eli Whiteside drove in three runs and the San Francisco Giants snapped a five-game losing streak with a 5-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday night.
The game was delayed because of weather, then it was moved because of the Metrodome roof collapse, and now it marked the end of Brett Favre's starting streak. It's turned out to be a bad few days for Vikings Fans. The icing on the cake: fans had a tough time trying to watch the game.
The rescheduled and relocated Giants-Vikings game will be broadcast in the teams' home markets and on the NFL's satellite TV package. The teams play Monday night in Detroit after the Metrodome's inflated roof collapsed in a snowstorm.
A snowstorm has pushed the New York Giants-Minnesota Vikings game to Monday night.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed the decision in an e-mail message Saturday night, with the Giants stuck in Kansas City because of the weather in Minnesota that brought 15 or more inches of snow.
