EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Jim Kleinsasser has spent the last 13 years bulldozing linebackers and defensive ends on NFL Sundays, a blue-collar battering ram for glamorous runners like Robert Smith and Adrian Peterson.
Minnesota Vikings tight end Jim Kleinsasser, the former Carrington (N.D.) High School and University of North Dakota standout, has decided to retire from the NFL after this season, he tells the Star Tribune's Sid Hartman in a column today.
