COOPERSTOWN, ND (WDAZ-TV) - After four days of testimony, the prosecution in the Daniel Wacht murder trial rested its case on Monday.
Wacht is accused of killing and decapitating NDSU researcher Kurt Johnson around New Year's Eve 2010.
In the days before investigators believe he killed the man whose severed head was found in his basement, Daniel Wacht is alleged to have said he was planning a murder or an explosion to get notice for the Aryan Nation, an infamous white-supremacist gang.

The Griggs County sheriff says that no aerial searches are planned this week for the body of a Cooperstown murder victim. Sheriff Robert Hook says that reports of a planned search this week for the body of Kurt Johnson are false.
