People in Grand Forks are saying goodbye to a girl they grew to know through her long battle with leukemia.
A battle that ended last Monday.
Mourners paid tribute Sunday to this brave little girl, Ali Borgen.
14-year-old Ali Borgen has lost her nearly four-year long fight with leukemia. The Grand Forks girl had recently been moved home for hospice care after being in and out of Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN, for treatment.
14-year-old Ali Borgen of Grand Forks has been battling acute lymbastic leukemia for nearly four years. December 23rd her cancer came back, and was determined untreatable. After she's discharged from Mayo this week, family and supporters are planning a party to celebrate her life Sunday.
