FARGO – An Emerado, N.D., man received a harsher sentence Monday than recommended by the prosecution or defense, ensuring a felony conviction for luring a minor by computer will stay on his permanent record.
Fargo police arrested a man in Devils Lake on Tuesday following a months-long investigation into luring by computer.
Allan Vetsch, 40, had been the Regional Technician for the Northeast Education Services Cooperative and Technology Learning Cooperative. He resigned Wednesday. School officials say they don't believe Vetsch had any contact with any students in any of the schools in the region.
