Sproule Farms of Grand Forks is partnering with The Salvation Army Thursday evening in a food drive called Cans for Corn. By dropping off a canned food item or cash donation people are able to pick and take home a dozen ears of fresh sweet corn.
The Salvation Army has once again stepped up to make sure all kids heading back to school this year have the supplies they'll need. More than 500 school children have been equipped with everything from backpacks to notebooks and pencils.
