A new book about the glory days of snowmobile racing is scheduled to make its debut Aug. 3 with a book signing and vintage snowmobile show in Roseau, Minn., birthplace of Polaris.

OSLO, MN (WDAZ-TV) - The lack of snow is creating concern for racers. The U.S. Cross Country Snowmobile Racing Association was to have its 500-mile race in Thief River Falls this weekend but had to move it to Oslo.
Though our above average snowfall is a pain on the roads, it has made for nice trails for area snowmobilers. The East Grand Forks Police Department said snowmobilers in the East Grand Forks / Grand Forks areas need to remember a few things.
Two snowmobilers were injured Friday morning when separate sleds went airborne after striking a drainage ditch near Leonard.
The two male victims — one was an adult — were taken by ambulance to a Fargo hospital. Their names were not released and their conditions were not known.
