The University of North Dakota softball team was finally able to play in front of their home fans. Things did not go well for the green and white as UND fell in a doubleheader to Portland State, 5-1 and 1-0.
School Presidents from the University of North Dakota and Lake Region State College today signed an agreement to collaborate in unmanned aerial system research. The cooperation between the schools allows Lake Region State to become a part of UND's center for UAS research.
East Grand Forks beat Rochester Lourdes 3-2 in the Minnesota Class A boys hockey tournament quarterfinals Wednesday in St. Paul. Kolton Aubol scored two first-period goals, while Tommy Hajicek added a goal and two assists. The Green Wave led 3-0 entering the third period, but Lourdes scored twice to pull within one. The University of North Dakota Women's Hockey team picked up its fifth goal in a row over Bemidji State Friday night, 4-3 in overtime. UND (19-10-0)made it five wins in a row as they held on to knock off the Beavers (5-17-1-0) who came roaring back to send it into an extra period.
