In Fargo, a daily record low temperature was set in the early morning hours when the mercury dipped to 12 degrees, the lowest for the date since the 15 degree temperature recorded on April 15, 1935, said Jim Kaiser, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks.
