Free tax help at Campbell Library
EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (WDAZ)--If you've got your taxes on your mind, you can get free help at the Campbell Library in East Grand Forks.
AARP has begun their free tax prep service here in town.
Now through the filing deadline in April; Anyone looking for assistance can come to the Library.
a dozen IRS certified volunteers will be there Tuesday from 1pm to 7pm, Thursday from 1pm to 4pm and Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
The service is first come, first served so they recommend that you get there early and get your name put on the list.
"There's no limitation. Anyone who wants help doing their taxes can come in. The only downside is you have to wait in line, you know we don't take appointments you just kinda have to wait your turn,” said volunteer tax preparer, Stephen Johnson.
We have a list of documents on our website that you may need...including a photo ID, a social security card, and your tax documents.
