Police seeking information on suspect in burglary

WDAZ-TV (GRAND FORKS) -- Police are asking for help tonight in identifying a man they say is involved in an alleged burglary in Grand Forks.

Authorities say they were called here to a burglary in a garage on 20th Avenue South this morning.

Police say a man escaped through a hole in a nearby fence and out through a construction site.

A woman was also seen driving away in an SUV.

The driver, 21-year-old Ashley Roesler was later arrested in connection to the burglary.

The man was not found and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

“We're still trying to investigate if there was additional burglaries that were involved with this vehicle or associated with this vehicle or the occupants of this vehicle,” Sgt. Jay Middleton said.

Authorities believe the two people stole electronics out of the garage.

There was also a gun on the site of the alleged crime.

Grand Forks Police say there is no on-going threat to the public.
