Three-year-old falls out of second-story window in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS—A 3-year-old child who was pushing on a window screen fell out of a second-story window to the ground and was taken to Altru Hospital.

The accident happened at about 12:37 p.m. Friday, when police were called to 515 N. 47th St., Sgt. Duane Simon of the Grand Forks Police Department said in a statement released Saturday. The child was described as "conscious and alert" when taken to Altru. A condition report was unavailable, and the name of the child was not released.
