Teen with bone disease visits N.D. participating in Larimore Parade
LARIMORE—A teenager capturing the hearts of people across the world comes to town with a powerful message.
15-year-old Alec Cabacungan was the grand marshal of Saturday's parade in Larimore.
Alec is the face of Shriners Hospital For Children because he has a fragile bone disease that causes his bones to break easily.
It's his first visit to the peace garden state he says he instantly noticed how North Dakota nice people are and the geography.
"It's flat. It's been fun though. It's been awesome," said Alec Cabacungan, Larimore Parade Grand Marshall.
Alec will be at Sunday's games and says he wants to be a sportscaster one day.
