Car show, BBQ held in Grand Forks Saturday
GRAND FORKS—Many people are taking advantage Sunday's summer weather by getting outside and grilling, and some in Grand Forks were serving up their burgers with a side of souped up cars.
It's all part of the "Car-B-Q" where car lovers put their rides on display at Riverside Park.
Car culture is growing in the Grand Cities area, with as many as 40 cars rolling up Sunday.
One gearhead drove all the way from Fargo to see the latest improvements people made to their wheels.
"Some cars have all the looks and look really nice and stuff and then some of the cars, have bigger, like make it more power and stuff like that," said Christian Garland, who drove from Fargo.
The car enthusiasts plan to meet for another barbecue next month.
