BIA to take over Lone Bear investigation
NORTH DAKOTA—The search for a missing North Dakota mother is intensifying.
This, as the Bureau of Indian Affairs takes the lead on the investigation.
Olivia Lone Bear has been missing since October, along with her blue Chevy Silverado.
Since then, her family and other searches have desperately been looking for her, along with any clues that could lead to answers about her disappearance.
Lone Bear's brother Matthew tells us the BIA is taking over the investigation because it has more resources and stronger investigative skills.
The BIA is taking over from tribal police at the Fort Berthold reservation.
