A mobile home in Larimore is a total loss after a fire.

It started around 3:00 yesterday morning and burned for four hours. This is video from a helmet cam one of the firefighters sent to us. The fire chief says the owner of the home was at work when a neighbor called in to report the fire. The cause is still under investigation.

FORMER PRIEST HEADED TO COURT

A former Fargo priest, who fled after being charged of sexual abuse in 2002, is due back in court today.

Fernando Sayasaya was extradited from the Philippines in December. He's facing two felony sexual imposition charges from accusations dating back to 1997. His bail was set at an unprecedented $5 million cash-only.

OFFICER CHARGED WITH DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A Detroit Lakes police officer put on paid administrative leave, after being accused of punching another man, is now charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

And so is the man he's accused of fighting with. According to bar staff at Hub-41, Sergeant Robert Strand and Blake Sundvor got in a fight and threw punches there on Christmas Eve. Strand was the subject of an internal investigation. Sundvor has been convicted of felony theft by swindle and other crimes. He claimed officer Strand has a vendetta against him.

DRUG TRAFFICKING ON THE RISE

Drug trafficking through our region is more evident than ever after state patrol took more pot off the streets over a couple weeks than they did in all of 2016.

On Friday, a trooper pulled over a mother-daughter duo: Choua Ziang and Kia Vang of California. State Patrol said they had an obstructed license plate. One of them was allegedly sitting on bags filled with 300-pounds of marijuana. Court documents say the car was sagging on one side because of how much the drugs weighed. Between this bust and two other recent stops in Otter Tail and Douglas Counties, state patrol said they've taken in 525 pounds of marijuana. That's more than what state patrol got in all of 2016. The other busts happened near Alexandria on January 24th and Otter Tail County on the 26th.
