Two vehicle crash in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS -- One person was transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Grand Forks on Saturday, January 27th.

According to the Grand Forks Police Department, on Saturday at 7:06 pm there was a report of a car crash with injuries at the intersection of 10th Ave N and North Columnbia Road in Grand Forks.

Police say a 1999 Oldsmobile sedan driven by Chassity Williams-Morrison, 25, of Grand Forks was driving on N. Columbia Road when they struck a 2005 Chevy Silverado driven by Kal Desrosier, 41, of Crookston who was driving east on 10th Ave N.

Desrosier drove in front of Williams-Morrison's car, causing the collision. There was signifigant damage to both vehicles.

A passenger in Williams-Morrisons's sedan was taken to Altru Hospital by ambulance. The extent of their injuries is unkown.

Desrosier was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way at a Controlled Intersection.
