UPDATE: Sexual assault suspect surrenders
UPDATE: Bail has been set for Busche at 500,000 cash only.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A man wanted in regards to a physical and sexual assault near NDSU has turned himself in.
This after Police issued a warrant for his arrested yesterday afternoon.
39-year-old Stanley Busche turned himself in at the Cass County Jail around 10:45 this morning.
Police say they've already begun questioning him.
Busche is a suspect in the case where 3 female NDSU students were physically and sexually assaulted at knife-point in their apartment on December 20th.
Authorities say after they released an image caught on a trail camera in April near the location, they received tips that led them to Busche.
He's now charged with one count of gross sexual imposition, two counts of attempted sexual imposition, and one count of terrorizing.
Lt. Joel Vettel/ Fargo Police: "We will be working with and meeting with the prosecutor’s office this coming week. Our suspect will be arraigned at some point this coming week and really that will start the next process in what we have to do to, ultimately, bring justice for our victims."
Busche is currently being held at the Cass County Jail.
He has 2 previous convictions, one where he stole undergarments from an NDSU sorority.
