Man sentenced for multiple-county burglary spree
GRAND FORKS, ND (WDAZ)—36-year-old Victor Moreno will spend 3 years in prison after a multi-county crime spree.
Moreno was sentenced to three years in prison for a burglary spree that spread across Walsh, Pembina, Cavalier, and Grand Forks counties, and into Minnesota.
Most of the stolen belongings were taken from vacant rural farmsteads. Police say that Moreno and his two accomplices sold the loot, but they were able to recover some of the stolen items and returned them to the rightful owners.
