GRAND FORKS, ND (WDAZ-TV) -- Authorities are crediting a police dog with turning a traffic stop into a drug bust on UND's campus.

Police say they stopped a car on University Avenue shortly after 2:45 New Years morning.

Thirty-four-year-old Derrick Laducer and forty-six-year-old Ronald Keplin were in the car.

Police say their K-9 sniffed out meth.

Neither of the men are affiliated with the campus.
