Police calling KFC robbery an inside job
GRAND FORKS, ND (WDAZ)--Police say an armed robbery at KFC was an inside job.
18-year-old Caleb Rose--the night time supervisor--is facing robbery charges.
Police say an armed robbery at KFC was an inside job.
According to court documents, Caleb told a co-worker his brother was going to rob the place at gunpoint.
Caleb and another employee told police the store was robbed 45 minutes after it closed on a sunday night last month.
Investigators say Caleb had been stashing the nightly deposits that weekend for a larger cash grab because his brother was in town and needed some fast cash.
The other employee who made the claim about the gunman received some hush money but gave it back according to court papers.
The heist netted Caleb Rose nearly six grand.
Caleb's brother has not been arrested but police have not ruled out more more arrests in the case.
