Grand Forks Police Department teaches community how to handle active shooter situations
GRAND FORKS, ND (WDAZ)--Grand Forks Police want you to know what to do in an active shooter situation.
RUN. HIDE. FIGHT.
The Grand Forks Police Department posted the video on its Facebook page.
GFPD are also offering active shooter safety training tailored to different community groups.
They say they hope the training will help give the community peace of mind, and maybe save lives.
"Bottom line is we believe this training will save lives. That is the bottom line to this training. We want to save lives, we want people to be safe, to feel safe, to feel confident in their own abilities to make themselves safe," said GFPD Sgt. Duane Simon.
