GRAND FORKS, ND (WDAZ)—Two UND sophomores have collected over 100 clothing items for a local shelter.

Holly Tweed and Bri Conn are sophomores that have collected more than 100 clothing items for Northlands Rescue Mission, and they have set up donation bins at churches across Grand Forks.

The students say they drove past the shelter one day, and wanted to help.

“It definitely breaks my heart because I'm sitting here in this apartment and I have a great place to live with a roof over my head, and there's someone out there who's struggling,” said Conn.

The students will be collecting donations until November 8.
