Oil could move through Dakota Access Pipeline as soon as Monday

Oil could start moving in the Dakota Access Pipeline Monday.

A federal appeals court denied a request Saturday from the Standing Rock and Cheyenne River Sioux tribes for an emergency order to stop the flow.

The tribes have been trying to keep that from happening while their legal challenge against the pipeline proceeds.

The tribes fear it could harm their water supply and would desecrate sacred land.

The $3.8 billion pipeline will move North Dakota oil to Illinois.
