Multiple vehicles involved in Sorlie Bridge crash
Grand Forks, ND (WDAZ TV) - A four-vehicle crash on the Sorlie Bridge in Grand Forks left a few people with injuries this afternoon.
Grand Forks Police were dispatched to the Sorlie Bridge for a multiple-vehicle crash at 2:50 p.m.
One driver stopped on the bridge for other traffic in the roadway. A vehicle owner by Grand Forks Taxi and driven by Brian Martin, Grand Forks, failed to stop. That vehicle caused a chain-reaction crash that involved three other vehicles, including the one that originally stopped.
All of the vehicles involved were traveling westbound at the time of the crash.
Martin was transported by Altru Ambulance Service for unspecified injuries. He was also cited for following too closely.
The driver of the first vehicle Martin struck, Shane Klein, also claimed injuries. He was evaluated by paramedics and refused treatment.
No one else was injured or cited in the crash.
