FARGO - RedHawks were trying to avoid the sweep against Gary Southshore at home on Sunday following the firing of Doug Simunic.

Fargo-Moorhead jumped out first with a sac fly in the 3rd and Tyler Alexander was dynamite from the mound as he struck out 12 in the contest.

But it was not enough as the Railcats were able to take this one and complete the sweep final score 3-2.

The RedHawks will be back at it on Tuesday at Sioux City.
