Bison fans can breathe easy tonight. It appears their head coach isn't going anywhere.

Chris Klieman says he has not been contacted by the University of Minnesota to be the next Gophers coach.

In an ESPN report last night, Klieman was mentioned as a possible candidate to replace Tracy Claeys.

Minnesota Athletic Director Mark Coyle and Klieman do have a connection though. They played football together at Waterloo Columbus High School.

Last April, Klieman signed a six year contract that pays him a base salary of 300 thousand dollars, his buyout is that number before January 15th.

It drops to 150 thousand after that date.
