UND football figuring out what went wrong and turning the page

The UND football season didn't go as planned. The preseason Big Sky favorites finished 2-6 in conference play and 3-8 overall.

The Fighting Hawks were hoping to make the playoffs for a second straight season but their performance this season won't be enough.

UND had numerous injuries throughout the year that certainly hurt the team's overall play and it didn't help that the Fighting Hawks had off the field distractions as well.

This past weekend the Fighting Hawks fell to Eastern Washington 21-14 inside the Alerus Center.

Now the team as a whole can step back and try to figure out what went wrong in 2017 and then turn the page to 2018.
