Open try-outs for Grand Forks semi-pro football team held Saturday
GRAND FORKS, ND (WDAZ-TV) -- If you've ever wanted to play professional football, tomorrow is your chance to get a start.
The Tri-City Northstars, a semi-pro team located here in Grand Forks is holding an open try-out for anyone who wants a shot at making the team.
Participants will compete in various pro-style football drills such as the 40-yard-dash, benchpress, vertical jump, and cone drills.
The team is looking to fill about ten spots on its roster.
Try-outs will be held at the UND High Performance Center.
"We're really just looking for players and bodies that perform at a high-level. Whether that high-level is motivating the team vocally, or if you're out there making plays, it's all about being part of the team, experiencing what it is to be a Tri-City Northstar," says Gerald Anton Jr., Tri-City Northstars Owner.
Try-outs will be from 2 pm until 5 pm. You have to pay twenty-five dollars to try out.
