North Dakota football reacts to new NCAA rule

1 / 2
2 / 2

The NCAA took a big step today for Division One football.. and to most people, it's one that needed to be done for player safety..

Starting this upcoming season, football players will be allowed to play in up to four games without losing a season of competition..

In its entirety, the rule will benefit programs like North Dakota football, but it's hard for the Fighting Hawks not to have a bitter taste in their mouths when former quarterback Keaton Studsrud's redshirt was pulled with four games left in the season his freshman year.. which would have allowed him to play this next season.
