Fargo's Tom Hoge holds the lead at PGA's Sony Open

HONOLULU—Tom Hoge posted a birdie on the 18th hole to help him take the lead after the third round of the PGA's Sony Open on Saturday.

Hoge, a Fargo South High School graduate who went on to golf at Texas Christian University, carded a six-under par 64 on Saturday at the Waialae Country Club. After five-under rounds of 65 on Thursday and Friday, Hoge sits in first place with a three-round score of 194—one shot ahead of patton Kizzire.

The 28-year-old Hoge has been a golf professional since 2011 and has been on the PGA Tour for the last three years.
