The story: UND's Cole Smith scored 7 seconds into the third period, kicking off a three-goal period, leading the Fighting Hawks to a 4-1 win and a series sweep of Western Michigan. Nick Jones and Grant Mismash each had a goal and an assist for UND.

Did you notice? UND was able to give a stick salute to the fans after the game, which is tradition after a home sweep.
Lineup notes: UND played with every healthy player in the lineup. Sophomore forward Ludvig Hoff (lower body) and sophomore defenseman Andrew Peski (undisclosed), who were both injured in Friday's game, sat out Saturday. They joined Trevor Olson (upper boddy, 10 games missed) and Dixon Bowen (foot, five games missed) out of the lineup. Junior forward Nick Jones, who missed Friday's game with an illness, played through his ailment on Saturday. Western Michigan made one change on its third-pair defense, going with Kale Bennett for Carson Vance.
