Welcome to your news update. NAME OF BIKER KILLED IN CRASH EXPECTED TO BE RELEASED TODAY Highway Patrol will be releasing the name of the 56-year-old woman, who was killed while riding her bike, sometime today.
Grand Forks, ND-- Police were lead on a chase after a report of a stolen vehicle at just after 2:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of 28th Ave S on Thursday. Grand Forks Police say that shortly after they were sent out to the call, the vehicle was seen driving near 2600 S. 20th St. Officers tried to pull the vehicle over, but the vehicle fled. The chase ended on the 1200 block of N. Columbia Rd when the vehicle left the road and rolled over. The vehicle was going north and stopped just west of the road.
GRAND FORKS -- A girl is recovering this morning after being hit by a car while riding her bicycle. She was riding across a crosswalk on the 4500 block of South 20th St. The girl was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver, 19-year-old Tori Waege of Grand Forks, was driving a 2004 Honda Accord and was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.

Welcome to your news update. VIOLENT INCIDENT AT THE RAMADA IN FARGO Police are investigating a violent incident at the Ramada Hotel in Fargo. We have calls out to police, who are working to get us more information. Our crew on-scene watched a man being taken away on a stretcher. A woman is also being treated for her injuries. One person was also taken out of the hotel in handcuffs. Police are questioning witnesses. We will continue to gather information. Stay with WDAY for updates on this developing story.
Fargo, ND-- A man is in jail after attacking another man with a knife just after 9 p.m. on Sunday in Lindenwood Park. Fargo Police say 25-year-old Emmanuel Gartei got into an arguement with another man over money then went to his car and grabbed a knife. He then began to chase the other man. The victim fell during the chase and sustained minor injuries. Witnesses at the scene were able to stop the attack and then Gartei fled in his car. He was later pulled over on south University Dr and arrested for terrorizing.

Beltrami County, MN-- One person is hurt after a pickup truck hit a cow in the road on Highway 1 at just after Midnight on Friday. Minnesota State Patrol say 45-year-old Royal Larson of Windom, MN was traveling east on Highway 1 just east of Highway 72 when his pickup truck hit a cow in the road. Larson was not hurt in the crash. One passenger, an 11-year-old boy was taken to Sanford in Bemidji to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
