ISIS have called on jihadis to carry out more deadly terror attacks on France. Thursday marked one week after the assault on the city of Nice that left 84 people dead. In the last 18 months, France has suffered three deadly attacks that left more than 231 dead, hundreds more injured, and people in the country remain shaken.
CROOKSTON, MN (WDAZ-TV) - A Crookston man will spend 4 months in jail for killing his wife in a motorcycle crash. Corey Reitmeier, 44, also gave up his driving privileges for 10 years. Police say his BAC was more than twice the legal limit when the motorcycle he was driving hit a deer on County Road 57 near Gentilly back in September.
GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE (WDAZ-TV) - Over 1,000 members of the Grand Forks Air Force Base laced up their sneakers today. It was for the monthly wing run. The event was started last year in an effort to build comradery. Everyone on the base, about 1,800 people, are asked to participate in the 2-mile run.

GRAND FORKS, ND (WDAZ-TV) - A local artist is helping new Americans learn to express themselves. Adam Kemp advises English language learners as they participate in Red River High School's Summer Performing Arts program. Kemp put together a wooden horse, in recognition of the Roughrider mascot, and asked each of the students to share the distance from here in Grand Forks, to the places they have called home across the globe.
CROOKSTON, MN (WDAZ-TV) - If you build it, they will come. And they did. Hundreds showed up for Thursday’s grand opening of the Crookston splash park. Over three years and $150,000 later, Crookston kids now have a place to cool off. “It's really fun with the face painting, the prizes, and it's just really fun from the water in the park,” said Megan Dietz. “The kids in Crookston will have a blast.”
GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE (WDAZ-TV) - A retirement party was held this week for a K-9 who has probably seen more than most of us ever will. Meet Serra, a 10-year-old German Shepherd who has spent the last ten years working for the Department of Defense.

DEVILS LAKE, ND (WDAZ-TV) - A two-year-old boy was found Thursday roaming Highway 20 in Devils Lake. People in the area called police after seeing the boy wandering along a busy section of the highway. Authorities say the child's mother was working and his uncle was supposed to be babysitting at his nearby apartment.
